Headquartered in Cincinnati, USA, our European operations are based in Orkoien, Spain, where we operate two manufacturing facilities, one fully dedicated to coating and laminating solutions.

Our specialized Coating & Laminating division is a recognised technology leader in the adhesive tape industry, offering advanced adhesive dispensing systems, hot melt coating solutions, and integrated quality inspection systems. We support tape manufacturers, converters, and end-users across the entire value chain with tailored solutions.

Valco Melton provides a comprehensive approach to the hot melt coating process, from adhesive melting and precision dosing, to application, web handling, and real-time quality inspection. Our portfolio includes a wide range of pre-melters, buffer tanks, and melters designed to meet the specific demands of pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) and UV-curable adhesive tape production. 

Our most comprehensive solution for the coating industry is the Akura Solution, which combines our Akura hot melt coating applicators with our Inspekt range of quality assurance systems. This solution empowers converters to produce defect-free  materials by incorporating close-loop control of the adhesive grammage with automatic deviation correction, and full process traceability.

For complete production lines, our LP Series Hot Melt Coating Lines extend the capabilities of the Akura Solution by integrating full web handling systems and accessories such as UV lamps to adapt to specific project requirements.
