Neenah announces the availability of its’ KAP release coating on tape backings produced in Bruckmühl, Bavaria (Germany), and in Munising and Quakertown, USA

KAP is a high-performance release coating with a difference. Tape backings made with this unique system exhibit excellent stability on aging with little adhesion to backing build. This provides a consistent and predictable out-of-roll experience for the tape end-user even after exposure to high temperatures and humidity.  KAP has demonstrated excellent performance when used with many acrylic adhesives as well as synthetic and natural rubber systems whether solvent-borne or hot-melt. KAP is available in a water-resistant version for use in wet-sanding automotive repair applications.
