A sales and marketing executive in the B2B technical textiles and fashion industry, with strong international experience and P/L responsibilities, is seeking a position as sales director for a leading multi- or internationally oriented company, which is looking to develop its European and North American markets.
With 35+ years in the technical textile and tapes industries of the U.S. and Europe (specifically the U.K., Germany and Spain) and a degree from the University of Textiles and Fashion in Frankfurt am Main, this individual is open to relocation to a relevant position within Europe, North America and beyond.
“In my current position, I am responsible for European textiles sales, developing new markets, cultivating customer relationships, overseeing cost and gross margins, and leading key-account relations and product development with R&D in the U.S. and Europe,” the candidate says. “I am an expert in sales, production planning, logistics operations, and process optimisation ensuring efficient production processes, streamlined supply chains and increased overall productivity.” In the past, he has served as global sourcing and purchasing director, V.P. international sales and marketing, and head of international fabric development and purchasing manager at high-end textile and fashion companies based in Germany and New York. Now, having spent nearly 20 years with his current employer, he feels ready for another opportunity.
