Afera dedicates itself to establishing standard test methods by which manufactured adhesive tape products can be measured and to obtaining their recognition by the Global Tape Forum, of which the Association is a founding member. Afera also strives to protect the common interests of our Members in relevant bodies of the E.U., the GTF, and other supranational organisations. In addition to standardisation activities, the Technical Centre now serves as a platform for providing market intelligence to Afera Members. Afera provides the Afera Test Methods Manual and the Afera European Pressure-Sensitive Tape Market Report 2025 free of charge to its Members. The latter, developed in partnership with AWA Alexander Watson Associates, offers reliable data and insights into the European adhesive tape market.
